Big Sky Canyon Area – North & South
The Canyon North follows Highway 191 and the Gallatin River from Big Sky to Gallatin Gateway. This is also what locals refer to the Canyon. There are several shops and restaurants but the main focus is the Gallatin River for fly fishing and rafting (whitewater and float trips).
The Canyon South refers to the Canyon from Big Sky towards West Yellowstone. There are many restaurants, shops, fly fishing shops, horseback riding outfitters, and lodging options.
